Merry Christmas - - ya ol' whores!
its been a long time since my last post. im not going to use the same old excuse of 'its been busy' but rather just say that ive had the time to post, but didnt. i got lazy. sue me. :)
so its christmas time again. i dont know why but i have yet to get into the 'christmas spirit'. we are soon approaching the big day, yet nothing has struck me. im getting this vibe now that christmas is just this big commercial ploy from corporate america to just sell sell and sell. and it is. and that is horrible. i read in a newspaper that the average consumer will spend 900 bucks and up this christmas. that number has been picking each year. one word to describe that stat...disgusting. and i have to say that i probably hit that mark. its gross i know. i think the reason why i have yet to feel that warm and cuddly feeling of christmas is because majority of the population is obssesed with consuming more then what is nessesary. im totally guilty of this, and it is something i need to change in the coming new year. i mean, how many effing guitars does one guy need??!
in other news, my nba fantasy team is doing terrible. im in 10th spot out of 13 teams. im not suffering from injuries like i did last year. my players are just under preforming *cough* jalen rose *cough* but oh well. theres not much i can do but curse them out.
anyways, ive had enough of blogging for one night. im off to play guitar hero, which was an early christmas gift from my cousin. which by the way is a wicked game. i finally get to solo like a mad man to some hendrix, clapton and a little bit of bowie a la ziggy stardust. think of this game as one step above air guitar. sounds ridiculous i know, but its pretty damn cool.
