its my party

so my bday has just come and gone. i just turned 24. i dont think turning 24 has any real big feeling attatched to it. its just another bday really. its nothing like turning 13, 16, 19. those years are big bdays. esp when you turn 16 and then 19. after those points, its more or less the same experience over and over. not to say its bad, but its just nothing that new anymore...but what is the real reason we celebrate birthdays? the gifts!!!
