its been a while since i last blogged. why? mainly, because its been pretty busy, and when i am not working away in front of a computer, i become very lazy and just sit around doing nothing. but since ive got a few minutes to kill at work...time to blog!
well it has been pretty busy for me latley. ive had a lot of freelance work comet through over the past few weeks. so that means a lot of late hours into the night trying to get things done. for some reason, there are a lot of pretty unrealistic timelines attatched to these projects, which makes it even more difficult. but its still been very good. i need to get this freelance gig up and running.
some other news worth noting was seeing BB King and Buddy Guy!!! both acts were totally amazing. the night of the buddy guy concert, i actually had a fever...but i still went. being all sweaty and coughing, i still enjoyed the concert. m'lady and i sat in the second row, pretty damn close to the stage, and buddy came really close many times. but i was too sick to move up and give him props or anything like that. finally, i saw some REAL blues here in bland-ass T.O!
BB king however, i saw feeling good. it was surreal experience seeing someone like bb king. this dude is a legend. listening to bb king is what got me into this whole blues mess. so seeing him step on stage, i was almost speechless. he put on a really good show. this guy is 79yrs old, and he still played his heart out. unbelievable. so i got my fix of some really good blues. my next task is too see eric clapton, kenny wayne shepp, slash and zakk wylde. sadly, hendrix and stevie ray will have to remain on dvd.
